Does anyone know of a shop in the Lake Texoma area that can bore a cylinder for me? Called some local engine builders and they don’t touch outboards. Appreciate any info.

Check with machine shops. Yeah I called a couple of those too, but struck out there also. Figured it would be a fairly easy task for any machine shop, but I guess not.

East Texas Outboard Rebuild - 903-432-2330, they aren't around Texoma they are around Cedar Creek. If you can't find one closer try them.

Just FYI, Acme Auto Parts in Sherman can bore/hone outboard cylinders. These guys know what they are doing, beautiful work.

Ronnie Fretwell used to do it.
I have not talked or seen him since just after he moved from GP. He is up around Eagle Mt lake now.

(817)366-3403 I’m the original poster and was just letting everyone know that I was able to get the work done at Acme Auto in Sherman. Cylinders look brand new, now if I can remember how to put it back together….
