That area gets Fort Worth services now was my point. Fort Worth wants any and all tax base. They are picking up what was once considered county areas regularly. I think in some ways these smaller cities have outgrown their resources. I think several in that area will have tough decisions in the next 10 years or so as they become more landlocked and new growth is stagnantm


I get that. But city limits and school districts are 2 separate things. The residents of that area would have to vote to move into fwisd and i highly doubt that would happen.


If the residents have a say, then no it won't happen. The people in that area don't like being associated with Fort Worth.

I say let them split, but the existing board and supt have to go to the less affluent district.
