Four of us heading down in May (two couples) talking about taking out a charter, I know the Dolphin is a go to for a lot of people, but my buddy was looking at Reel Thrillz Charter, anybody ever book with these guys?

Are you looking to target a specific fish or just want to get out and go offshore? I have never used Reel Thrillz just because I can't afford a trip on their boats. $850 for 5 hours is just a bit out of my range. Recently my boys and I went out on the Wharf Cat out of Fisherman's Wharf. Unfortunately all they are targeting is bottom fish. AND if Snapper is out of season then you're catching fish smaller than your weight. If you are taking ladies, this may not be any interest to them as reeling in a 25 ox weight in 250 feet of water is not fun.

Fishing near shore for 5 hours on Reel Thrillz and splitting the cost may be more desirable.

This is what my boys caught on a 10 hour trip with Wharf Cat.
