I think our dogs know how to tell time. For several yrs my wife has gave them a treat at 8 O'clock. If she is 5 minutes late the shepherd will stand and demand bark.
The Dechaun'd will start whining. I think they can read the clock. Time change will throw them off though.

After he gets his treat she tells him go outside and he goes out the dog door and waits and she will hide 2 milk bones. He comes in and goes about finding them.

I believe them dogs are smarter than most my friends.

The only thing worse than a porta potty in the wintertime is a porta potty in the summertime.

My good dog Addy knows to the minute what time is snack time. She won’t rest or give you any piece until she gets hers. She will then race me to the snack drawer and put her nose on the bag when I open it. She is relentless.

Most dogs definitely prefer routines. Dogs are great, they make everyday just a little bit better.

Have blue Heeler and a red heeler.
I'm thinking they can both tell time.

Same scenario with ours. Wanna eat at 7PM and treats immediately after. If you're late you'll get the stink-eye.

Homemade treats are what they get! Pumpkin and peanut butter dog treats.

It took a couple of months for mine to adjust to the time change. He hits the bed at 9pm

If you want some entertainment, givem an empty jar of peanut butter. It’s amazing how long a dogs tongue is. #beaglelife

Living creatures follow predictable patterns.
Set up a bird feeder; and the different birds will feed from it at almost the exact same times every day…almost to the minute.

It is amazing the beauty God created. His systems are amazing to behold.

The empty peanut butter container is truly a hoot.

Yup... The wife has always sorta varied when she feeds our Lab breakfast so he just sorta mill around in the morning... You can tell he's thinking WTF feed me... He gets feed again at 5p... A few minutes before 5p he starts shadowing the wife... Then I give his a treat at 8p, same a few minutes before 8p he'll find me and start following me. If he can't find me he'll be sitting at the top of the stairs waiting on me... They know... And yes, the time change screws with him too... Dan

Our cat stays in the house during the day, and I put her in my shop every night to sleep. During the fall and winter, it gets dark around 6 p.m. and if I haven`t put her in my shop by then, she will find me and start meowing. They know.

I am sorry, but dogs can't tell time. The squirrels are reminding them.
