Does Megabass make a jerkbait that could compare to the McRip that Spro makes? https://www.tacklewarehouse.com/SPR...4eTaTjp8JnMUMqyeArCzjzTdtO0aAiupEALw_wcBSpro's prices keep going up and up, they're basically at MB prices so i'm looking around for alternatives or additions. There are times when that McRip really shines.

This looks comparable in terms of size and depth but I haven't used it(or the McRip for that matter) myself to say how it fishes.

Closest thing bait length wise is going to be the Megabass Vision 110 Jr +1. It will get close to that same depth. If it's the depth you want then the Megabass Vision 110+2 will actually go deeper than that Spro and they are the same wight. Both I mentioned are available in mat shad.

There's so many JB's out there. Megabass is tried and true for sure. Berkley Stunna is a good one, however it is a very slow sinker, but at times, that is what they want. i haven't fished the Rapala Maverick yet, but they ripped of Megabass and came out with a Matt Shad color.

Thanks mark. I hear ya quillback, What I like about the McRip is the size, there are days where they seem to really enjoy that smaller McRip.
I use it on windy days, I reel it down, and instead of the twitch twitch pause retrieve, i sweep my rod a good 3-4 feet and pause. Just another thing, anyway, thanks yall

Lucky Craft Bevy Shad 75 is a good small jerker. Limited color choices however, if you want something shadish, they have that covered, but that's about it as far as colors, at least at TW. TW has Duel Hardcore 75mm shad on sale for $6. I haven't tried them yet, but will pick a few up. Again, limited colors. They are advertised to get down 10-12 feet. Slow floaters but you can fix that.

Another compact jerkbait that suspends is the Lucky Craft Pointer 78DD. I have a handful of these when I see the bait fish size that is smaller than the 110 jr.

Thanks avid, I really like these smaller size baits, when the water is really cold and clear, there are days where they seem to really enjoy a smaller meal.

110+1 mini is a bad [censored] bait. Thats one of my favorite Jerk baits.

The question to me is "does the Mc Rip even compare to the Vision 110?
