I’d show them your window sticker, they can activate it. My truck is out of the free trial period but I prefer it to having to mess with phones so I paid the $80. You get a live map with the subscription. Current road closures, detours etc. True. It may be worth it. We pay more than that for TV streaming subscriptions.

Sweet ride and the correct color for TX.

That's a good looking truck, hope you enjoy the heck out of it. Download the WAZE app to your phone and give it a try for navigation.

Some people like Waze. Pandora for music.

Different strokes for different folks for sure and that is fine. My personal preference is that I don't need to control the lights in my house, peruse the TFF, check my emails, pay utility bills, while I am driving and google doesn't need to know where I am or what I am saying. I just want a non connected GPS system.

I used the Android mapping in my '23 F150 Lariat but found it lacking. It kept losing the wireless conncection and when lost you could not reengage without stopping and rebooting and typing in the new search. Fustrating when you're in the boonies on a county road looking for an address. As I use the mapping almost weekly for work I gave up and paid the $80 bucks for the Ford Navigation capability.
