My money says they have agreed that Mike will be the coach awhile back, they are just ironing out the details, I doubt the money is the big item, I bet Mike wants a few changes on how things are done, just a guess. Drawing it out keeps the publicity bandwagon rolling down the road too. Jerruh's drama may not be the top sports story of the day, but it's up there.

Giants and Commanders were both 19-31 from 2021, 2022 and 2023. Daniel Jones, Sam Howell, bad teams. The game is changed now though with Jayden Daniels at Washington. The Eagles have been tough for several years.
Whatever, I think we all agree that the insurmountable problem is Jerry, he has 30 years of not reaching the NFC championship game as proof, 30 years!
