Thanks all! It rides nice so far. I like the HUD (heads up display). Shows the speed limit and your speed, etc. Pretty handy having it in front of you like that. Like driving in a video game.

I would need to get some mudder tires. I do need to wear the "new" off of it. roflmao

Bob, nice truck! you might want to check with your dealer, Ford usually offers a minimum complimentary 90-day trial.
From Ford site:
Complimentary Trial Available
Experience Connected Navigation on select trims of your favorite Ford vehicles with a complimentary 90-day, 1-year, or 3-year trial based on your vehicle and model year.

Yes, I’m a new here but have been lurking for a while.

Thanks for that info! I will ask them next week when I take it back in for the liner.

I thought for sure that truck would have built in navigation.

It's weird. On the window sticker, one item is "Connected Nav" for 1 year trial. No way for me to activate it, I've tried Ford Pass, etc. but it wants me to pay the $80 annual subscription. I really just like the "embedded", builit in, non-connected version. You can't get that until you do a trial of the connected it seems. As if you have to try their Connected Version first, then it lapses into the free built in.
I could be off base on it though.

It is fast for such a huge truck. The 7.3L gas motor makes 435 hp, 485 torque. Comfortable seating. I could see making some long trips in it. There are some contentious issues with the 7.3. Some say that at idle, the oil pressure to the lifters is only 8 psi. Many Taxis, Utility work crew trucks with that motor that idle a lot are showing lifter failure and often when the lifters fail, metal shavings tear up the motor. So at the fast food drive throughs, I will have to be revving up the motor like a school kid in his first car. roflmao

I’d show them your window sticker, they can activate it. My truck is out of the free trial period but I prefer it to having to mess with phones so I paid the $80. You get a live map with the subscription. Current road closures, detours etc.
