This time of year it is fruit cake and no one has mentioned it. That’s because there’s no argument. Everyone HATES it! Edit: except Brit’s apparently

I love Tex Mex, but New Mexico Mexican food is better. I’m a green chile fan. X3

Pizza. New York style vs New Haven vs Detroit style vs Neopolitan, etc etc. You forgot Chicago. That’s a casserole, not pizza.

I like fruit cakes and don't care what folks think of them.
Would rather eat fruit cake than liver!!

I’m not making it up, Bob. I’ve heard it from native Chicagoans a lot. When I was there, I asked, and was also told that’s the case. You can even google it, it’s been discussed online quite a bit. It’s a tourist thing for the most part. I've been there too. Both styles are loved. It's in no way a tourist thing only. Conveniently skipped over the parts where I said I talked to local people there about it, I’ve heard from Chicago natives in the pizza scene that said the same thing, and that it’s been discussed online a lot. https://medium.com/@darryl.ventura/no-chicagoans-dont-actually-eat-deep-dish-pizza-7c00e73ab73#:~:text=We%20take%20our%20inquisitive%20out,style%20pizza%2C%20not%20deep%20dish. https://www.thetakeout.com/chicago-style-pizza-deep-dish-tavern-steve-dolinsky-1830006453/Local Chicago news outlet: https://wgntv.com/news/ask-wgn/what-do-chicagoans-actually-eat-its-not-deep-dish/

Oh, and I worked with a guy from Chicago and we traveled there to meet with customers. We went out to his favorite spots from when he lived there. I asked about Chicago style pizza. He said nobody from there eats it, which is a stretch, but it’s definitely not the preferred style by locals.
