I pick up half cigarettes off the ground and finish them off... I was just thinking about how often I have shared a pipe or a hand rolled ciggy with my pals. Its not a big deal. I mean as long as one of them is not clearly sick, then he or she might be uninvited but otherwise, we are still all alive and well. Dang the redmen used to pass the pipe around all night and... ok well things did not work out great for them, but it werent the pipe passing that did it. Smallpox, an infectious disease brought over by the Europeans, killed more Indians than were killed in fighting the white man. They should have gloved up and masked up. 6 feet away at all times. Just 2 weeks to flatten the curve. In all seriousness comparing smallpox to daily germs is a reach butalso it should be pointed out the Indians had not been exposed to much outside their own tribe ferm wise.

I was a dish washer in my younger days and we had to scrape the butter off of the incoming plates and they would use it for cooking other meals. I saw steaks hit the floor and hit the plate. I quit !!

I have a code that I live by; never use the food items on the table in public settings. We're taking a big enough risk eating what comes out of the kitchen, no sense adding to it some funk from the clowns who don't work for the restaurant and have unattended access to the containers...

tell that to the Aztecs amd Mayans ---entire cultures wiped out by the introductions of diseases laden Europeans Um, a salt shaker or ketchup bottle is not going to exterminate us. hope you are right ---- but then again , I never thought our Govt would help spread lies about a pandemic created in a lab while telling us it was a meat market thing ---all to keep control over Americans . So , yeah --- let's just hope it wasn't a first pass test Point taken.

I guess it's a reach for some, but the reason people can go into restaurants and lick dirty catsup bottles and not worry about getting sick is because we've eliminated disease such as smallpox through vaccination and food born illnesses such as Typhoid through sanitation. We're fortunate to live in a time where we can be ignorant and get away with it.

Yeah I used to travel all the time, and I got the flu every freaking year. Now that I'm retired and not out and about that much, I haven't been sick in years. Covid free too, at least for now.

People sure worry about germs when handling ketchup bottles but often I see grown men at bathrooms pee and not wash there hands and then go set down and finish there meals wow.
