The Ray Hubbard Bass Cub will be having our annual Open tournament on Saturday February 22nd on Lake Ray Hubbard. Here is the information -

• When: Saturday February 22nd
• Where: Lake Ray Hubbard - Chandlers Landing Marina Ramp - Reduced launch fee of $10.00 payable at registration
• Time: 6:45 AM - 3:00 PM
• Registration: 5:30 - 6:30 AM
• Entry Fee: $100.00 per boat - 2 person maximum

You do NOT need to be member to fish this tournament. We're going to try this earlier this year. Come out and join us!

Registration will be at the ramp starting at 5:30 on Saturday morning. When you register you will be given a card. You will need to to turn your card in to get your fish weighed. You will need to get your live well checked and a ribbon tied on to your trolling motor which must remain there until weigh in. You can then launch or trailer and go to your spot. If you are going to launch at Chandlers, we have a reduced fee of $10.00 which you will pay at registration. You will be given a slip to put in your windshield to show them you have paid. No lines in the water until 6:45. Lines out at 3:00. There will be a 30 minute dead water period where no fishing is allowed at the end of the day. This is to give everyone time to get off the water, and the TD's time to get the weigh in set up. The card must be back on the board with the Tournament Director by 3:30. Weigh in will start then. If your card is not in the bucket at the specified time, a 1 pound per minute penalty will be assessed. After 15 minutes your catch will be marked as 0. You will be called to the scales by boat number. Leave your fish in the live well until your number is called! See you at the ramp!

Congrats to the team of Tyler Holmes and Justin Tunnell on their win in our Open tournament yesterday. They weighed a monster bag of 27.72 pounds. That included big bass of the tournament, an 8.59 beast. Full results and pictures coming soon
