I don’t see a problem with FFS. I do think they should put a 9 unit maximum on each boat. That would allow 2 units on every corner of the boat and one for the console. 🤣🤣

I personally would like to see an old school tournament where no electronics are used. I have nothing against technology at all.

I know growing up we had to read the land and know which trees grew on humps and near water and be able to recognize channels and hard bottoms and all that good stuff that is not thought
these days at all.

It would be very interesting to see who could put together something with no electronics.

Just by knowing seasonal patterns or water temps which again we use to have a pronged thermostat to read water temp.

It's about what you do know verses what you can read on your electronics.

Yes I know there would be lots of guys just running the bank but others would know what to do.

Just my opinion .

That's odd because TV ratings have never been higher. They were so high that Fox increased their coverage for 2025.

Yep, as long as they are showing the graph view I'm watching. Learned more the last few years watching FFS than the past 30.

some similarity in what deer hunting and bass fishing have become.....deer feeders/food plots, motion activated cameras and deer feeders plus high fence and artificial breediing has eliminated the need to know deer hbits and patterns...simply put out the food, monitor the cameras and go shoot the deer....
FFS allows you to ride around til you see a school of bass and throw a plastic minnow or jerkbait at what you see on the screen...no need to know seasonal patterns or bass behavior....big differeence is that you never fish where there ain't no fish....
MLF is trying to keep tournament fishing entertaining without banning FFS......not sure if they can....

You can tell who has actually used FFS and those that have not used it just by the general comments they make. Some that haven't real experience with it think it's foolproof and simple. Its so easy they think, just turn it on and you start watching fish. grin

So you're saying people with FFS are in debt

I think he said “his weiner is too small”. confused 3

Man I’m still waiting for the underwater high fence option on my ffs- must be a software update I haven’t received yet.

You’re severely underestimating all the young guns on the pro tours. FFS or not they’ll still kick olds in the nutz. Watch and see.

There has always been “young guns” in the pro tour. KVD was kicking a lot of old dudes in the “nutz” at one point, and plenty of other examples. Even Randy Blaukat had success as a younger guy, haha.

Younger anglers are more competitive for many reasons. Today, there are young guys willing to fish 325+ days a year, traveling all over, pre pre pre fishing lakes. They’re flat out hungry. They aren’t taking Time off for hunting or anything else.

Spoken like the clueless that you’ve shown to be many times. Both comments above prove that, but in regards to your second comment, if everyone has the same technology…why are the same guys constantly winning? popcorn

So you’re telling us that you have absolutely no experience whatsoever using FFS

Now I know what I'm doing wrong. I need to be using corn for jigging instead of a minnow

I think high fence deer hunting has been making bad hunters look good for decades, deer feeders certainly isn’t new tech, haha I’m not seeing the parallel between that and FFS.

I would like someone to put good data out regarding pre FFS results and now, maybe I’m missing something but a kid has been able to go out and catch 15 pounds with or without FFS.

This idea that you just can’t compete, especially local tournament guys, is propaganda, I could easily take a hs kid to a spot where he could cast a bc, drag something in the bottom, or whatever and he would catch 10-15 pounds without even needing a graph on the bow.

The electronics companies def won, look at all the double or triple 12” graph setups folks are running, haha, funny times.
