It’s going to be funny watching old timers with all the lifelong skills and instincts bring 8lbs to the scale and the “cheater box” kids that know nothing that fish without the “umbilical cord” bring 20lbs to the scale..

Yeah I don't really see that happening. I'm sure there some kids that can fish old school, but I'd guess most aren't very good with side scanning and instinct style fishing. It'll be fun to watch though.

I almost always let the kids that I captain for run the boat 100%. I only offer help when they ask a question. 99.9% of the kids I take don't care where they start fishing. They just want to be in a drain or a flat. They put the trolling motor down and only cast when they see something. For kids that have never fished they are pretty darn good at it. I'd say the kids that I take probably average bringing in 10-13lbs. They'd beat most of the old timers in the tournaments I fish including myself. These are kids that have fished less than two years period. They all watch tons and tons of youtube. I always quiz the kids pretty good. They couldn't tell you who a pro fisherman is besides Ben.

You’re severely underestimating all the young guns on the pro tours. FFS or not they’ll still kick olds in the nutz. Watch and see.

Oh I'm sure they will dominate it. No doubt in my mind either. Like I've said before. Pro bass fishing really needs an age limit. No one over 40.

Old guys can't compete with these young studs. It is said over and over on here. It's got to be true.

Wish someone would ban it on my boat. I might start catching fish again.
