We aren’t that far from catching fish in the creeks and eventually spawning. Last year, first week of February or so I was catching pre spawn staging fish in creeks on Cedar Creek and roaming fish on Palestine on timber and shallow stumps. As wild as it is looking at the weather this next week with the possibility of snow, it’s hard to imagine catching fish in 30-45 days up “shallow”.
