Saw Seger on his farewell tour in Shreveport. Best concert I have ever been to. At 70 he was amazing and still had the chops and backing band to sound better than the recordings.

Springsteen decided to produce one popular album to make money. Other than that his stuff is depressing and downright awful. How many songs can you sing about how terrible things are. "The factory closed, we all lost our jobs, and I got gut shot with a 12 gauge..."

I remember when 'Against the wind' song was released in the 80's Every radio station in Dallas played it 100 times per day, Q102, The Zoo, The Eagle, etc, I bet I heard it 10,000 times, Can't stand it

Then about 20 years later Brooks and Dunns releases same dang song in Kuntry Musik Version.

I turn channel anytime I hear Seger songs, too mellow for me.

I agree 100%. His liberal azz can go to he11. I wouldn`t listen to his music if he were a conservative either. Never cared for it. Bob Seger is Americana in so many ways. He is the "Great One" along with the Silver Bullet Band.
