I know like all of our East Texas lakes it has stumps, but is the channel safe to run? Where are the problem areas at?

Man, skip those grassy lakes and come West. It's on fire.

Put in up north and idle. Always best fishing on the lake.

Lots of poles are gone that mark the north end. If you don't know it, just idle up north and you will be fine.

Yea I think that’s the plan. Put in up there at the cedar springs ramp and just idle. Just moved to the area 6 months ago and trying to learn the lakes.

Dudes never learn. Sometimes it’s okay to just turn em loose instead of continually killing a lake. But hey I don’t live there anymore so I guess I shouldn’t care.

The dang docks fish better out west I know that lol.

If you like docks then hit Lake Quitman Winnsboro and even Holbrook. If you are willing to drive an hour or so dock fishing on Tawakoni and Cedar Creek is pretty good.

I’ve been on cedar creek a few times. And Holbrook once. I’ll have to try the others you named. I do like fishing docks a lot.

Same here. I love me some dock fishing.

We hit Cedar Creek recently. Caught them all day long pitching jigs on docks. Fun day.

I'm heading to Tawakoni again tomorrow. Had a decent day recently on the lake with Jigs on the docks with one right at 5 lbs. Just need some more rain to raise the water level a little.
