Do small business owners feel some kinda of dirty guilt when they lie about [censored] like that? We know they lie just to keep the employees from walking out right in the spot, but do they really care?

I dunno. If I was an employee and knew the bossman well, I'd feel betrayed to say the least if if played out like that. Personally, I think it is immoral as hell to lie to employees about their future, I could not do it. I also realize that the business world is a tough place sometimes and you have to look out for #1.

It happens. I got laid off 3 days before Christmas at a job I had been at for 3 months and had quit another job to get.

Gary sold to another company that then sold to this massive conglomerate. Gary may have been under the impression that the new owners were good to their word and made the promises he wanted before he sold. He had no say in the new sale that is costing folks jobs.

I was literally about to order my first Dobyns, a DX744. I was wondering why the shipping from TW was going to take so long, Then I saw the news on Facebook. Needless to say I called an audible and will look elsewhere. That is big time BS that they canned everyone in SS. What a way to [censored] over what I’ve seen to be a VERY loyal fan base.

Same here. I returned the one I bought on my back from the lake. But with the recent TW sales I was just about to try one of their higher end rods, the champ extreme. Regardless, it’s still very sad to see bs like that happen.

Do it! That is one awesome rod. I have several dobyns rods and really like them. I get some may like not them but wonder what level they bought. I have the higher end ones and no complaints. I have several high end brands but reach for my Dobyns champions and XP models the most. They have one of the best military discounts and excellent customer service
