Guys I bought a pack of the 6th sense wide gap worm hooks in 3/0. Figured I would give them a shot. I’ve always use Gamakatsu or Owner. Anyway the first one I tied on I stuck a bass and he got off. While re- rigging my Brush hog I seen the hook tip was bent over. I thought wow that’s weird. I cut it off and tied a new one on. Next fish, same thing. About a 1/16” of an inch the hook tip bent. It happened again on the third hook. Are 6th sense hooks trash or was I just lucky and bought a bad batch? Thanks..

The more I use that brand, the less impressed I am. I do like their Crankbaits though.

I think 6th sense has gotten their hands in too many things.

Hard to beat gama or owner hooks, no reason to try anything else.

It’s all trash. Everything from 6th sense is some Chinese garbage.

I tried a pack and they did the same exact thing. After one fish the tip was rolled. I love all their other products though. Definitely some of my favorite baits to use.

I won’t waste my money on anymore of their products. Got sucked into some stuf and have not been impressed at all.

I hear their Hangover swimbait is legit.

Many of their baits started to look and feel cheap about six years ago.

Just curious...Why would anyone use anything other than Gamakatsu worm hooks ?

For the price, Gamakatsu hooks can’t be beat…Owner used to make even better hooks, but I’ve noticed their quality has been slipping.

I like their pre made Carolina rigs.
