I can't root for Texas but I can root for Ewers. He is being treated poorly. I feel like he is the new Applewhite. I hope he smokes them and in a month or so leaves for a better fanbase, 6 million richer and Chris Simms 2.0 is what happens to Texas.

Texas wins handily. Ewers will then take the 6mil he was offered to enter the transfer portal and be gone next year. I think Manning knew this and decided not to enter the portal. He will be starting QB next year.

Ewers should have sat out longer and healed up, but he did not and it has hurt Texas.
Not sure if this is on him or the coaches.

As sick as it would make me if Ewers wins it all and decides to return to Texas and Manning left it would make for some entertainment at least

Ewers has not had a great game since his injuries early this season. He is just good enough

I think Texas plays good today. ASU will keep it close for a while.
ASU's qb Leavitt is solid and can make all the throws and has a couple solid WR's
and we all know about Skattebo he runs like a bowling ball with razor blades.

I see it the same way

If the Horns can keep the AZ offense on the bench it should be an easy win. They are a running, ball control, eat the clock up team. Get them where they have to throw or play catchup, and they will fall apart. Plus, their star WR Tyson is out.

Comparing Major playing in no defense Big 12 to Ewers playing in the SEC isn’t fair to either one different game plans for their games
