I'm in the market for a new scale. Looking for recommendations for the most accurate and consistent scale.

I really like the bubba scale. I feel like it’s fairly accurate compared to the tournament scales. I don’t think you’re gonna find a scale that is dead on accurate. I previously had the rapala scales and went through two of them and they both kept getting moisture in them and ruining them. I’ve had the bubba now for a year and has been really good so far

I have had the Bubba pro version for over a year now. Best scale I've ever owned.

This is the one I think I’m gonna get. I have a Rapala and it seems like it’s on the way out.

Well yeah, I would expect the Bubba scale to be good.

I've bought boats that didn't cost that much.

Must have bought the boats on TEMU.

You can find both models of the Bubba scale for way less than retail. They are on sale pretty often. Beats buying a new scale every year.

Hahaha. I spent $100 on raffle tickets a couple weeks ago to win one. Didn’t win. Then I saw it was $89 on Amazon. Yeh. Felt like a [censored]. This was the regular Bubba.

What are the differences between the regular and Pro? Just the case?

The operating menu is different, screen is full color, more features, comes with lithium battery, waterproof case and a year or two subscription for the app. I'm leaving some stuff out I'm sure.
I use the Bubba culling system too which matches up. Best non puncture clips I've used as well. They don't come off. The kits comes with a beam as well.

I’m sold. Thanks for the quick answers. I am gonna get one from Amazon.

I got one for Christmas last year, the regular one, not the pro. Works great and no complaints. I did add the lithium battery. Got it on Amazon for like $17 or so.

Good to hear. I’ve had the rapala for years. But it has its ups and downs. Seems to go thru batteries quick. May have to give the bubba a try.

I bought the brecknell scales on sale few years ago for bout $60, like that you can change them from ounces to hundredths only downside you have to hold them with 2 hands but can manage with just 1 and are accurate enough. Bubba scales are way to go now.

The lithium battery seems to stay charged for a long time. I usually only charge it every other month or so. It's never below 50%. I just charge it out of habit.

I forgot to charge mine for a few months and it died on me during a tourny. Luckly I keep the usb cord the battery came with in the boat not that I had anything in the livewells to brag about.
