My grandson and I made our own butter today and its delicious !

Easy peasy too-

We did the heavy cream and stand mixer thing-

Thinking of adding cinnamon to the next batch-

Does anyone else do this on the regular?

Interested in how you did it. Which mixer attachment?
Just heavy cream and salt?

Yes literally the Walmart brand heavy cream pour into a mixer bowl and run it on number 2-3, takes about 15 minutes total-
Youtube has a ton of variations but along with what I typed already, at the end I poured off the buttermilk, although I plan to make biscuits with that next time-
I rinsed the butter ball twice and its ready for use-
Its very tasty-

I worked at a cheese / milk plant a hundred years ago lol, when we would unload trucks of milk and run it through the pasteurization process there would be clumps of butter floating on top, it usually was when we would get milk with a hight butter fat content, we would scoop all those clumps out and save them until we got about a 5 gallon bucket full, all we did was add some salt to it, really good butter.

After watching a couple of videos on it, yeah, honey cinnamon butter is going to made soon. Never knew you could make butter from heavy whipping cream.
