Has anyone ever fished Dan Pond? Have duck hunted there years ago, but never fished it.
Always passed it to fish big and little Cottonwood.

I have not. Only been out there a few times to Clear lake and that was maybe 10 years ago.

The water was VERY low then, we were in that bad drought. I was told Dans pond and several others had dried up during that drought. I am sure they filled back up but as far as the fishing... I got nothing.

Hopefully someone with more recent info can help you out. Fun place. I need to get back out there. See it when its in good shape. Even Clear lake was at about 30% when I was there and it is one of the bigger and deeper lakes/ponds out there I understand.

Dans pond is a decent small water spot, it did get very low if not completely dry up in 2014. I kayak bass fish it a couple times a year mainly in the summer. Most fish are 1/2lb to 3lb range. I typically catch a couple, but nothing to write home about.
