Fishin Boy13,

If I may save you the trouble may I suggest that you go ahead and go the swim noodle route on your jugs. If you are going to drift them then they will work much better than bleach bottles since they will catch much less wind. If you are going to anchor them then you will still not need such a large jug. You can fit 20 single noodle jug lines in a walmart plastic bag. There is absolutly nothing wrong with using large plastic jugs but in my humble opinion nothing beats a swim noodle. You can get about 5 good floats out of a single noodle. Wrap it in white duct tape and you are good to go. I have some set ups with two noodles zip-tied together for when I am drifting live bait just in case you hook a big one. My double noodles are also rigged up for when I want to anchor them. Either way the profile is much smaller than a bleach bottle and much easier to store and transport.

Just my 2 cents

Think that's what most people do. Another option...check w/ farmers if ya know any...them big 2.5 gallon chemical jugs are stout and can hold alot of weight. I've got about 10 or so of the 2.5 gallon kitty litter jugs and a whole gob of the smaller (maybe 1.5 gallon) kitty litter jugs. As long as ya don't try to hold the jug itself to fight the fish it'd prob. be okay.

No fish is too good for the grease.

Another idea is restaurants, especially BBQ joints that go through a lot of gallon jugs of various products. I used to throw out cases of empty jugs of BBQ sauce, Worschester (sp?), vinegar, etc. when I worked in one of these places and I had to pay someone haul them off.
