Going to set up a dedicated battery for my garmin only. What is a good size lithium for that. Not familiar with Lithium at all.

I run two Helix units (8 and 9) in my boat using a 50ah battery. Have yet to have it run out of juice in one day of fishing.

I run a Helix 15, Garmin UHD 93sv and GLS10 for Live Scope on a 100ah battery. It's a bit of overkill. 50ah would work just fine.

Look up the specs for your electronics. Add them up then multiply how many hours you plan on fishing. Thats the minimal amp hour battery you'll need. Get bigger though for longer outing or in case you upgrade electronics. People think they can squeak by with the minimal sized battery to save a few $$$ then cry then it runs out of juice on the water.

You've probably found it by now but there's a spreadsheet you can download in this video. Will help you estimate different run times with your graphs and battery sizes.

I last year I switched to lithiums for trolling motor. When I asked about battery capacity everyone said I would be fine with 50ah batteries. I went with 100s. I figured better to spend a little extra money then to spend more if 50s did not work for me.
