A few years ago my podiatrist recommended Brooks shoes. She also rearranged the laces in the pair I was wearing, making a huge difference.

But….ya still gotta bend over to put on socks, so I guess there is still some touch of the toes required.

you could always ask her to put your socks on for you.

Nope- I still put my socks on standing up balancing on one foot at a time, I watched some video of a lady saying if you can do that you are good so it’s my daily test…lol

The real test is drying in between your toes while balancing on one foot while still standing in the shower. It has become petrifying. The good thing if you fart and it’s actually a shart you’re still halfway in the shower.

I have to wear special orthopedics since I had my ankle fused in April...yes, I tie my shoes every morning, and if they feel loose.

Haven't worn real shoelace shoes in decades. Loafers for work, Skechers or HeyDude for everything else.

Fishing, a man knows a serenity of soul and peace of mind that he finds in doing nothing else, and it makes no difference whether or not he catches anything. The mind of a true fisherman is not on petty subjects.

I own a few pair with laces I tie. Sneaks, dress shoes & work boots.

I keep looking at those slip on sketchers. I just can't give in quite yet.

I do bend over and tie my shoes if they have laces, but I admit to owning and sometimes using a boot jack.
