Thinking about adding Target Lock and I was wondering if anybody has tried it with the Ulltrex I-Pilot without the Link. I think the only feature I will not have is following the trolling motor - not sure though. I am currently using Helix 12 G4N unit with Mega 360 and ML1. I will be waiting a few years before unpgrading to ML2. Thanks!

I have the target lock. I myself like it. When on spot lock I place it in forward scan. It will sweep the area. If I spot something I like i take it off and lock it to trolling motor to follow the direction the motor is turned. . It's not for everyone

Also it adds some weight to the trolling motor with 360 and live. I added a assist to mine
