I hit a floater so hard it broke the latches on my cowling one time in a tournament. Made me 6 minutes late to weigh in, every time I got on plane the cowling would fly off and I would have to go back and get it lol.

i can think of several ways you could lose a cowling, I hope this one finds its owner

I hit a yacht wake so hard on Texoma I lost the cowling on my Yamaha. Barely kept the boat upright.

i know if i lost my cowling id want it back. it was by a dumpster off hwy 82. it had a rough landing but is still intact
