They have showed some grit this past several weeks, probably save McCarthy his job, not sure I am all happy about that but then again, he has done pretty well, besides that who is out there for a head coach, don't see them going with one that does not have experience. Next season probably going to be a lot of the same, they apparently will not go after any big name guys in FA, all has to come form the draft, that is a tough go as much as they need.

The Cowboys declined to pick up Lance's 5th year option before this season started. Lance will be a free agent as soon as the season ends. Cowboys can't trade him as he will have no contract with them. He can go wherever he chooses.

Basically Jerry will have wasted a 4th round pick for him without ever giving him a start before letting him go.
