Time To Spool Line & Add a Gomexus Power Knob!

I had purchased this way over a month ago but only recently arrived from the same eBay dealer that i purchase my 1st 5000 unit from months ago. It was CHEAP! He sent me a notice for $60 something BNIB. So i bought it. In this i'll explain the choice of my 20lb braid i spooled on as my original 5K unit was 10lb monofilament. I did purchase another Gomexus 38mm Power Knob for a Shimano/Daiwa reel.

But years ago i discovered these fit on Okuma reels! Big breakthrough for both Gomexus & Okuma as i shared this discovery. Now with the 10lb mono i can fish the inshore flats & using the 20lb braid i can jig in deeper waters. Yes i ran that piece on Okuma offering spare reel & rod parts to the public. Yes i could've just purchased the extra spool alone. But at the time i purchased this 2nd 5K unit that information wasn't shared knowledge. What's done is done. Now i can purchase extra spools for my other Okuma reels as well.

Cheaper than purchasing an entire different reel. Ran into a slight issue of trying to loosed the screw to take the factory installed knob off. Thought it was Loctite holding it in but found out latter it's Nylock. This'll create problems in the future as the last 2 screws i tried to remove from Okuma spinning reels had Nylock holding the fasteners in place (confirmed by Okuma's Director).
