Out of the oven is good for most cookies, but not chocolate chip if the chocolate is all melty and gooey. The chocolate gets all over your fingers and mustache. You say that like it’s a bad thing  and YOU know 1st hand how good my wife's chochip cookies are, right Wool E. ??? You damn skippy I know  . I’m gonna be needing another batch soon too

This may require a scientific study. I dunno….scientific studies have messed up a lot of [censored] in the last few decades…..they mess up the chocolate chip cookie I’m gonna be ready to take up arms….just saying.

I dunno….scientific studies have messed up a lot of [censored] in the last few decades…..they mess up the chocolate chip cookie I’m gonna be ready to take up arms….just saying. don't worry Wool E., i gotcha covered; my wife's recipe is over 30 yrs old; beyond scientific study basics, but you may have to stop by the house when she pulls a rack out of the oven to be sure

Wive is still going at it
Just pulled some mini pecan pie cups out.

Your the one missing out, Maybe it is time you broke the tradition and asked for some dough and then be present when the cookies come out of the oven. I find it better to ask for forgiveness than permission especially when it comes to cookies.

Your the one missing out, Maybe it is time you broke the tradition and asked for some dough and then be present when the cookies come out of the oven. I find it better to ask for forgiveness than permission especially when it comes to cookies.
Jody I’m definitely losing out on this deal. If I have to wait for them to cool off then I feel like I can have one anytime.

I'm going to subject myself to testing out several theories expressed in this thread. Today is "Cookies with MiMi," when the grandkids descend on our house for an evening of cooking making. Our kitchen and dining room table are already a shambles with the preparations for this annual event.
It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas.
