Liquor company was trying to peddle Yellowstone Bourbon this week, I don't know if there is a tie in but I declined

Is it on the same shelf as the stuff from the Moonshiners show or the Gas Monkey tequila...

It’s not that his stuff is really that “good,” it’s just that the rest of the stuff turned out is so horribly bad. TS’s stuff seems like he has some drama queen writing half of it. TV today just isn’t worth watching, which I rarely do. 👎

Jeremiah 7:28 KJV

But thou shalt say unto them, This is a nation that obeyeth not the voice of the Lord their God, nor receiveth correction: truth is perished, and is cut off from their mouth.

Galatians 4 : 16

Am I therefore become your enemy, because I tell you the truth?

I think that's because he has so many irons in the fire. Some how he still pulls it off. Just takes forever.

Anticipation builds interest and larger fan base. He does seem to have a lot of irons in the fire but it's strategic between Sheridan and Paramount as to how/when new seasons will be released.

Valid point. I tend to lose interest instead of gain anticipation. That's just me though.
Most streaming series I'll let a season build up and binge watch. Just so I don't have to wait a week between episodes.

I like Yellowstone better if I only watch a couple of episodes at a time, same with Longmire when it was first out. Too much extreme drama to binge watch. Lioness is one I can binge watch and still enjoy..

I'm not happy he spotlights Red Dirt and Texas music. I used to be able to afford to go see Whiskey Myers in concert. Now they sell out like Taylor Swift and tickets are steeeep. The first time I saw them they were indoors at Floores Country Store. They are still my all time favorite band to see live.

I can't stand Taylor Sheridan as an actor. The shows that he's written are absolutely at the top of my favorites.
I wish he'd stick to writing and forget about acting. He has a talent for writing that to me is nothing short of amazing.
He's not nearly so bad as an actor in Lioness as he was in Yellowstone. With the talent he has as a writer, he's entitled to be a bad actor in whatever he wants. I'm just hoping he doesn't insert himself in the second half of 1923.

This. Especially outside of Texas. I used to be able to catch good shows for $5-20 and not be in a crowd full of hipsters. Now I feel like such a trend follower

We really like lioness, 1923, and landman only bad thing I can say about Taylor is his acting is not very good. Another gripe with his writing is all the very bad language it’s far over the top. But he is a great writer, very talented.

They were already starting to blow up before Yellowstone. There wasn't anything holding that freight train back.
Last time I saw them was 2021. I got in on the fan page pre-sale code. Was like $35 a ticket.

Mayor of Kingstown is another one. You can't watch it around your kids but it's good.

It is good but very dark. Speaking to TS I was watching a Youtube yesterday of 1883 and saw cows that had plastic ear tags that were not invented until around the 1950’s. Got a chuckle on that one since I worked for Allflex Animal ID for many years.
