I only watched half the first season of Yellowstone. I did watch the whole show about about their great grand parents on the Oregon trail.

1883 and 1923 were both worth watching.

It's about time to drop it off at the train station.

Never seen an episode. Is it the hillbillies version of Sons of Anarchy

Taylor Sheridan got his start as a deputy on "sons of anarchy"

I got tired of Yellowstone at the beginning of the 2nd season but have enjoyed his other series on Paramount+. I think Lioness is my favorite but like Tulsa King, Mayor of Kingston, and the Yellowstone prequels. Have not watched any of Landman yet but will give it a try at some point. It seems most of the Hollywood big names want do work with him. None are truly what you would call realistic but still very entertaining.

I'd never seen it until a friend got me to start watching it about two years ago. I'm actually surprised that I enjoy it so much as unrealistic and over the top as it is. But it is entertaining. I think part of the draw is that I love that part of the country.

Dallas started the genre. Remember, "Who shot JR"?
I've watched a few episodes. Wondering how much they paid real cowboys to teach the actors.

I've watched a few episodes. Wondering how much they paid real cowboys to teach the actors. A couple of the actors are/were real cowboys Forry J Smith who playedLoyd was in the rodeo before becoming a stunt man in westerns. Ryan Bingham started out on the rodeo circuit as a teen. I don't know about any of the rest of them. Yellowstone was good at 1st. But didn't keep the same intensity. I'll admit though. I was in it for the gratuitous violence. 1883 and 1923 were better IMO. I'm liking Landman. Lioness is on my watch list. I can't stand Sylvester Stallone so I doubt I'll ever watch Tulsa King

Never seen an episode. Is it the hillbillies version of Sons of Anarchy I'm sure Yellowstone spawned a few less wannabe cowboys than SOA spawned wannabe bikers. So it has that going for them.

We've watched the whole thing. Like any show, it's slowly degraded. This half season without Costner is by far the worst.

Yeah, you definitely don't want to be a cowboy. Most are serious drunks. Not being disrespectful, those words came out their very own mouths.
I've never rode a horse working cattle but I have stood ankle high in cow [censored].
