I didn’t watch the video, but it has been my experience that every small town in Oklahoma is awesome. When you get out of Tulsa and OKC, Oklahoma towns are just like Texas towns used to be when I was growing up.

I've been to Guymon. It reminded me of the Dust Bowl.

I've been to Pauls Valley, Davis, Ardmore, Broken Bow, Sulphur. All great little towns.

That’s exactly what it is- I can’t imagine living there, but it’s a good place to stop for fuel on the way to Colorado.

I’d have to agree with most of the towns in the Video. I grew up and went to high school in Ada and it’s really nice little town other than the police force. Hopefully they are more honest than when I lived there. I’m sure it’s changed over the years. If you don’t believe me google Ronnie Williamson. A book was written about him by John Grisham. Also, the Juliana Hotel that was mentioned about Ada was a Whore house up until the late 70’s.

I couldn’t get out of Oklahoma fast enought and get to South Texas/Houston etc. it’s changed, I might move back if I could find the right property.

Thanks, Billy

Atoka, Tushka and all the other speed trap towns on Highway 69 between the Texas border and I40 suck. And one lane has been closed with no workers or any semblance of work being done for the13 years I’ve been driving from Fort Worth to northwest Arkansas to visit my wife’s family.

But, I am intrigued by Oklahoma and might consider living there if they ever get their road situation worked out.

The roads are fine. All I’m asking is to open the other lane. Just remove the barrels. That’s it. It makes zero sense. Just 20 miles of two lanes down to one, even though the road is fine and there’s no work being done. It’s like they forgot to pick up the cones.
