Ruth Chris State House... There are a few local brewery/ restaurants... A Brazilian Steak House... Sorta depends where you're staying downtown... Ask the front desk... They've got some goofy liquor laws... Dan

The ole Planet Utah.
Actually, a very nice state to visit.

Love the country around Salt Lake but never really thought much of the city. It is kind of industrialized and dirty in my opinion. Not a big city but no small town. It is nice to see the mountains. I sure it has changed in the last few years since I have been there.

The Green Iguana. It is a place that was on Diners Driveins and Dives and is excellent southwest mexican food.

Years ago I had to go to Salt Lake City on business. Was staying down town. I ask where to eat, girl said walk 3 blocks down the street and around the corner. I said walk, is it safe she said where are you from. They donโt have near the crime as we do in Houston.
Thanks, Billy

Yes, SLC is mostly steak and potatoes; but does have really good Asian food. Lots of Asian immigrants worked on the transcontinental railroad; with the golden spike driven just north west of SLC. Many of the railroad workers settled in the SLC area.
