I drove one with the caution lights above the radio and always hit the light button thinking it's the auto start

It worked on a lot of models- if that doesn’t a cheap trailer test plug will work. Does the test plug work on a 2024 1500 Silverado? The 7 pin plug in did not work for me. I think it will but never tried it- for 10 bucks it’s worth a shot

I installed the device from autostopeliminator.com on my 2019 Expedition when I got it. It has worked flawlessly since then. I don't even think about it until I read a thread like this one. Before I installed this device the constant start/stop drove me nuts.

My 2022 F150 came from the factory without it. Doesn't even have the button to turn it off. On my old 2016, I plugged one of those LED light strips you put above the bumper and it disabled the auto stop start and told me a trailer was connected at every start. It also made the turn signals go from 3 to 7 flashes when you just bumped the blinker switch.
