Anybody else get a text from TPWD? I reported mine as junk because I think it’s a scam. Here what it’s asking.
Is the mailing address for your boat registration correct? Verify it at tpwd.texas.gov/AddressBoatReg
That’s the exact spelling with the capitalization in address boat and reg. That made me suspect it’s a fishing scam.
I know they send my registration to my mail box every year why they asking now? Thoughts?

I posted a PSA in the OT section. It's actually legitimate. I thought it was a scam too. Some office weenie is going to get a sound scolding..................

I got the same text yesterday and looked like spam to me. TPWD shouldn't have my cell phone number, so it got deleted.

Got my renewal notice in the mail a few weeks ago. Sent off the renewal form and a check the next day, got my new stickers a week or so later. Never did get a text, phone call or email
