hey folks, i've been out of the scene for a few years now.
I now have a wife and 4yr old boy and i'm thinking a pontoon would be a good idea.
I dont need a huge pontoon, it will probably just be us 3 75% of the time, but i would like to have a motor large enough to pull my fat (260lb) butt out of the water for some knee boarding or something.
do yall have any recommendations for the type of boat or where to purchase such a boat in the lewisville area?
we'll wanna fish mostly, but tow tubes and ski occassionally.
I used to be near ray hubbard, but now im just south of lake lewisvile, so probably going to be launching or docking on lewisville mostly

thanks folks,
T

I sold a fleet of toons. There’s some things you want and things you don’t

A Tri-toon is miles ahead of a twin toon for performance. Not even close. A 22’ Tri toon with a 115 that’s propped right will run 40+. Same size same motor twin will struggle to find 30.

Air filled are superior to foam filled. All aluminum decks over plywood. The lifting strakes and bottom skins work, and a proper toon prop finishes a good setup.

If you're looking, I do believe Jeff still sells Benningtons. Those are by far the top of the class.
