Lake level 617.93 Temps 53-55 Bad time to be a shad. Fish been gorging and that makes great fishing. Seriously finding fish all over the lake. I’ve heard reports of people catching on slabs and people catching dead sticking and people catching using live bait. I’ve even heard reports of people catching trolling but I’ve just been using soft plastics on a three-quarter ounce jig head. This is one of my favorite times a year about to start fishing later in the morning as it’s getting very cold at night in the mornings are brittle. We have several openings in December and we have a saying we called remember December it is a great time to come fish for striped bass on lake Texoma!! I filmed a show for carbon TV yesterday when I get a link to the show I will share it. It went great! Eye candy…

We fished yesterday and deadsticking worked great. We also caught casting sassy shad under the birds. A lot of big fat fish.

Purdy marsh red drum! Even the reds are confused and think it's still Fall. Lol The reds in galveston marshes are feeding in skinny waters right now. Site casting is fun!
