Three times now I have had to remove heavy monofilament line wrapped around my wheel suspension and/or brake lines. Any place where bank fishermen frequent is where I have had the problem. Seems that some knuckleheads insist on leaving their waste mono on the ground that unfortunately my truck tires seem to throw up into the wheelwell area. I could picture a case, under the right circumstances, where a brake line could be severed if the tire caught it just right. It is tough to brake 50-100 lb monofilament. Next time you go out to your vehicle, take a minute to check the inside of each wheel for issues.

Tight lines (but not on your truck)
