Yep, it’s all Coleto, nothing else has a useable ramp this year. They typically have Choke mixed in, but it’s done for.
I fished it once, seemed decent enough. We had about 10-15 boats, last year they only had a handful show up. I quit fishing it because one of the anglers was going out with the lake guide before the events, I saw no need to waste my money after that. If alleged Christian guys fishing it don’t have morals, then I’m out on the platform. Most were really nice guys though, they really want you to attend a meeting the night before the event and that’s a bit challenging for some. Meetings this year will be in Victoria, good luck making that.

My backyard lake. If they'd let kayaks in I'd give em a run for their money! I still own the 2nd larges bass landed from that lake at 12-3. Lost a bigger one at yakside 2 years ago in my honey hole area. That lake is hiding some beasts. I can't wait for Jan-Febr!

have looked on the website, entry is $150, but does anyone know the payout? If you’re on FB, look up Harry Stanley, he runs the Fishers of Men South Texas division. I believe this is his wife’s phone number, might be his though. “ANY QUESTION GIVE US A CALL 361-237-0947” Or try the number below for Tony Chance. I believe he helped Harry, really nice guy. Either will be able to answer any of your questions. Really great group of guys, very friendly.

Thanks Grout! I will give them a shout!! Not a lot to choose from down here anymore unless you are willing to drive 3 hours one way. Coleto is 2 hours, but I am missing the competition.
