It doesn't live up to the hype imo, but a good sipper

That's kind of where I am at on it, too.

Why? You guys are rolling out most of what he has gotten but some of you are showing me a lot of what he has not. Also you are giving me some choices for me in the future. Keep it up.

Jack Daniels Single Barrel Barrel Proof is usually easy to find on the shelf, and it is delicious. I'm not a Jack drinker, but this is stellar stuff, and at the $60'ish dollars it costs, it's a value, imo.

It's a solid gift bottle.

But I have been ruined forever by my son in law during our granddaughters wedding. He buys Blanton's Bourbon and collects the bottle tops with the letters that spell out Blantons and has a display that he puts them in. One of the bottles of Silver Addition runs about $4,000.00. Some really awesome sipping Bourbon.

I like the TX bourbon, not the blended whiskey, but the bourbon. I also agree with the four roses recommendation. I’ve had the king ranch old forrester….it was ok, but not worth the higher price. The other offerings of old forrester were just as good…imo

I like the Single Barrel better than their Small Batch.

I’d ask Grasshopper. He could save you some money for sure. He once found 3 bananas and a few apple cores in the neighbors trash can and fermented them in his toilet tank to make a world-class wine.

Agree on the JD SB. I will run from the old No. 7. (Maybe because it really hurt me back 20 years or so ago.) I have a half gallon inherited from my dad sittin in the bar.

Gentleman Jack is palatable IMO.

Yellowstone. They have several flavors and proofs just under 50 bucks. Not affiliated with the TV show.

Old Huckleberry 102

Kentucky -52%- From the largest collection of privately held whiskey stocks in the world. This Kentucky Straight Bourbon is incredibly balanced with sweet and spicy notes. Aromas of oak, and clove fill the nose. Delicate on the palate with flavors of brown sugar, vanilla, and toffee.

$20.00

be surprised, nice little find.

Cut with her golden oars the silver stream,
And greedily devour the treacherous bait.
