If you have the funds, do a guided bay trip out there on the Laguna Madre. That is the best inshore saltwater fishing in Texas by far. Full of trout and redfish

This was more a trip for the wife than me. Walking the beach, bike riding, and checking out eating spots were her things to do. Looking at those beautiful photos, I wish I still lived in Wichita Falls, Tx.  Good friends/ good fishing - even in Ok. across the border. ; ) ) It's already snowed in southern N.Y. with snow 12" deep in higher elevations and nighttime temperatures in the 20's. Four more months of this [censored]!
