Now on NBC. Going to be a wet one. 2 groups from TX. Kilgore College Rangerettes & Flower Mound HS Band. TX is only state with 2 groups performing.

I’ve been tired of this corporatized shill Macy’s sponsorship for thirty years already.
It’s like saying Happy Thanksgiving; but the priority is emptying wallets on Friday.

I’ve been tired of this corporatized shill Macy’s sponsorship for thirty years already.
It’s like saying Happy Thanksgiving; but the priority is emptying wallets on Friday. I like the Macy moniker since they have supported it for about 100 years.

An old girlfriend of mine and I actually marched in the Atlanta version of the macys parade years ago. Her besty worked for macys and they needed 4 people to carry one of their logo balloon things, dressed as friggin clowns. That thing was pretty big and was a bit of a strain on the arms as the parade progressed.

My wife went to Kilgore to be a Rangerette. She didn't make the line for the next spring and transferred to SFA where I was. Thus she was (eventually) relegated to marrying me. Ha.

My Mom used to love watching that. It was boring as all get out for me. Same stuff every freaking year. My mother loved it a lot. Now that she has been gone the last two Thanksgivings, I have it on now and am thinking about her today.
