Oscar Meyer Black Cracked Pepper Turkey Breast for sandwich is the only turkey I will prepare... may have one while fishing tomorrow, but I doubt it.. takes too long to make a sandwich.

Turkey can be okay, but it’s never good. Ham for the win.

Turkey is great a couple of times a year. Turkey sandwich is the 2nd best, only behind a muffaletta.

Pump it full of Cajun butter and deep frying. Pretty decent.

I just don’t know about you anti-Turkey guys.

I bought Greenbergs for years, but they have gotten so oversmoked they are not to our liking. The smoke smell and taste is just too overpowering.

I’m fine with traditional but mainly for the sides. Would never set out to roast a turkey to eat on my own. Smoked or fried, or infrared fried is good eating though.

I agree. Momma and I have standing orders for the kids. We will cook the feast, but there will be no left overs. Whatever is left is divided up and sent home with them.

While l'm a take it or leave it guy on turkey...l will admit to loving me a sammich from the leftovers. Yum.

And clearly turkey sucks because everybody is suggesting you have to brine it, marinade it, shoot it up with stuff etc etc just to make it edible. Sounds like a bunch of nonsense on a duck hunting forum trying to convince people those things are edible.

And by the way, the margin for error is zero. You can pull it off heat 2 minutes early and poison the whole family or 2 minutes later and it's a dried up pos.
