I recently upgraded the travel cover on my 2008 Ranger Z520 and was preparing to sell what I think was the original cover (I'm 2nd owner). It's in good shape but the gas cap flap does not align with the actual gas caps. For the past 10 yrs, I just loosened the back strap to fill the tanks but thought I'd see if anyone had insight on what the issue might be. Everything else fits fine and it synchs down snug but I'm wondering if it was made for a different model boat.

I've included a pic but not that easy to pick up. The flap seems to be 10-12" closer to the bow than it should be.

Any thoughts?

Thanks,

Did a little more research and learned the Ranger 520 VX has a shorter front deck / deeper back deck when compared to the Z520 which would push the seats slightly forward so..... I've got a 520 VX cover on a Z250 boat...

I know that when I switched to an Ultrex trolling motor, my cover still fit, but not really well.
