"SST by Okuma! Salmon! Steelhead! Trout"!

So what size spinning reel do i use on this rod? You can use a 3000 but i suggest only for targeting smaller species. A 5000? A bit bulky & heavy, already tried. A 4000 is PERFECT! The travel tube fits diagonally in my suitcase. I've been using this for years & caught & released many Jacks to Bonefish & Barracudas. Pieces fit perfectly together without sticking. Once a year i lube the ferrule connections & spray silicon on the zipper. Depends on your usage. Great for distance casting my 15/20/25g Mustad Tracershot jigs. Took it to TX for bass fishing in Lake Jackson.
