Wow, I've caught alot of different birds, but never a bat. Watch out for Rabies. Did he catch it in the air?

I'm not sure if I hit him or he hit me. I was in the forward motion and just about to release my thumb (bait caster) and I thought I had crossed swords with my partner. Instead well, you see the results. No back lash was the only good thing.

Night fishing is great fun,
When I was young out night fishing I caught something nice and when it got to the bank it continued to move towards me in a snake like manner. After running and screaming like a little girl i came back with a flash lite to find a nice eal on the end of my line.

Couple years ago on LakebAthens I hit one with the tip of my rod, knocked it down in the water. I thought I had hit a big moth, but then it started flapping around and I realized I had knocked a bat right out of the sky. Did not end well for that one either.

i got one about two weeks ago at lake arlington. hit the line and got tangled, lost my favorite rattle trap in the process of tring to get him released.  the other one kept buzzing the boat all night.

hey what lake was you fishing day or nite how deep were ya fishing was it over cast or clear did you use red line if so do you think the red is what triggered the bite
