Brian, since my wife broke her hip my Silverado is to tall for her to get into. Do you have any cheap cars or know someone that might? We will probably have to drive it for 2 or 3 months

I suggest a mid size SUV. like an Envoy or Expedition. When my dad broke his hip, our car was too low.

check a rental, your insurance might pay for it.

Toyota Rav4 is a good choice for this

They're not "cheap" but easy to resale and hold value well and shouldn't break down in the meantime. 2014-2018 models are super reliable.

This could go 10 pages, half the people here have already or are on the verge of breaking a hip.

3 months- you need to rent a car if it’s 3 months.

I would think getting out of the Honda would be harder than getting in the truck.

I would think so too, I just don't have anything else.

What’s the alternative? Buy a cheap car for 10 grand- tag it and register it, hope it doesn’t take a dump on you in the 3 months you need it, turn around and sell it and hope you don’t take a beating on the sale. Maybe catch an Uber occasionally, get groceries delivered? 3k isn’t horrible

I got a nice shiny titanium one in 2022. I'm good as new and now I am at least worth the price of titanium.

I didnt come to this post trying to sell something. I would go buy a 3-4k car use it, and light in on fire when done before i would pay 3k to rent a car for 3 months.
