I was curious about other options. I have a fishing specialties transducer pole where I need to always remove and stow when I run to a different place. Kind of a pain. I am looking at Bass Pro - Millennium Marine Transducer Pole $269 or Beat down outdoors all terrain $550. Need something that folds up for running place to place. I have a Minn Kota Terrova trolling motor and not wanting to mount on the trolling motor. Any ideas? anyone used the above ones? I have Lowrance AT1 for crappie fishing. Water is finally getting cool down here in Houston.

I have the Beat Down Outdoors AT on my boat with a Lowrance AT1 mounted to it. Any time I get ready to move from place to place, I just slide it up as high as it will go, lock it down with the thumb screw, and head across the water. I have never had it slip back down towards the water no matter how rough the ride is. When I get to my new spot, I simply back off the thumb screw and it drops back down to the preset depth I have chosen. I know it's a big price jump from one to the other, but I am very happy with the Beat Down product.

Oh, so you have the beat down outdoors fixed one for $375 and you just slide up and run to another spot? The one for $550 folds back 90 degrees out the way.
The pole ducer ones not as beefy as the others.

I just can't let myself pay the stupid prices these companies are charging and just go to Home Depot and build my own. They are cheap and easy to make to suit you

Water is finally getting cool down here in Houston. The beatdown outdoors breakaway transducer pole is a very good option. I had one on my skeeter bass boat. It was super easy to breakaway to go to another spot. It would also breakaway if you hit a stump so the pole would bend. Beatdown outdoors has a black Friday sale $100. off on the beatdown outdoors breakaway. If you have a basspro credit card you can get 15% off on Monday and free shipping

Look at the poleducer from shut up and fish! The Shut Up And Fish "ProDucer" will attach to the TM and work independently from TM Spot Lock. I wish I had bought but only Learned after spending $400 on Fishing Specialties. The Fishing Specialties was bought because it could be mounted left or right of bow AND detached and set inside the boat easily AND the Transducer cable was protected (slid inside the down tube) AND no funky Ram Mount. https://www.fishingspecialties.com/
