Here are a couple nice ones I got at ray bob yesterday

Black was biggest at 13.5 inches and 1 lb 9.5 oz. No fight and i was very gentle and slow but clearly this fish was caught napping and would die. So we ate her.

Going to squaw creek sunday. I don't plan on catching crappie but has anyone gotten into them there?

I've fished squaw since 1980 and have never seen a crappie or heard of anyone catching a crappie

You are dead on. The TPWD will nets never caught one either.

That lake basically has shad, tilapia, channel catfish, a small amountof sunfish, and largemouth bass

Some people just like catching. I like fishing.

No crappie in squaw. I caught one small one way up the river several years ago and assume it got there from upstream somewhere. I think it just gets too hot for them.
